Phamily Matters: September 22, 2015

Friends & Phamily,
It’s difficult to say, “Things are picking up!” on the campaign trail…because in reality, they’ve never really stopped! And this past week was certainly no exception. Our team has been on the ground, working hard, since the June Primary. We don’t take this opportunity for granted, and I remain committed to earning every vote possible from Henrico citizens.
Part of this hard work and commitment has been engaging our next generation of voters and leaders. It’s been an honor to have so many area high school seniors and college students ask to intern and volunteer with our campaign. We will be able to reach many more voters with their help, and hopefully help show them how important it is to be a part of the process and hold our elected officials accountable.
And that accountability starts right here, in the Phamily. I’ve told our interns I won’t ask them to do that which I’m not willing to do myself: canvass. I look forward to the weeks ahead, and the many opportunities our team will have to out and engage our community — together!

On Thursday, it was a privilege to enjoy a Meet & Greet with some of my brothers from Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Thank you to Bro. Little for hosting the event, and to my friends who came out to show their support.
What an awesome experience it was to walk in the Glen Allen Day parade! It was great being able to shake hands with folks and was able to see so many supporters of mine from the Primary. I love meeting new people! The sea of Republican Red was very visible as we made sure the Henrico GOP was represented!
Blessed with a great family who not only understands why I am
running (and running hard), but also actively supports our vision!
Saturday evening was capped off with a great evening meeting neighbors in the Wyndham area. Thank you Rehan and Hena Hanfi for your kindness, and opening up your home and inviting your friends to come meet Dr. Dunnavant and myself!

Thank you for your continued, faithful support for our vision and for our campaign. See you on the campaign trail!
