Phamily Matters: September 15, 2015

Friends & Phamily,

Seven weeks.

We’re down to just seven weeks before Election Day on November 3rd. For some folks, that may seem like a long ways to go. However, for our campaign, that’s an incredibly short period of time.

The last few weeks of summer flew by as we spent our days out in the community, meeting voters, engaging citizens, and letting people know about my vision to serve all of Henrico. And that’s how it should be. Our County deserves a leader in the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office who will become involved – and stay involved – throughout the year; not just during a campaign season.

Highlights

The past several days have been full of opportunities to do what I love most: get out and meet with members of the community.

Last Wednesday, we had over forty guests for our Meet & Greet in Wyndham. Thank you to Tom Shaia and his family for opening up their home, and welcoming such a large crowd!

On Thursday, I joined Dr. Siobhan Dunnavant and Heidi Barshinger to speak at the University of Richmond CR’s September Meeting. It’s always wonderful to speak with future leaders of our community and our party.

The Phamily was busy, over the weekend! First thing on Saturday morning, it was a privilege to participate in the Shaping Our Future panel discussion.

Rain didn’t stop our awesome volunteers from making our first Super Saturday a resounding success! I’m so thankful for everyone who came out to canvass, make phone calls, and prepare lit bags for our weekday walks. And thank you to Teams Dunnavant and Barshinger for joining us to support to the Ticket.

With such a fantastic team, we were able to cross the 2,300 mark on doors knocked so far, since the Primary! Additionally, we stuffed over 2,000 lit bags for distribution while across Henrico.

The next stop was the McShin Foundation Recovery Festival, where I was able to speak with attendees and join up with several other members of our GOP ticket.

Our weekend rounded out with another wonderful neighborhood Meet & Greet in Farmington.
